Sakurako Kaoru is a Japanese gravure model, AV idol and pink film actress. First coming to prominence as an AV actress, Kaoru successfully made the transition to the theatrically released softcore pink film genre. She has appeared in award-winning pink films, and was herself given a “Best Actress” award for her work in this genre in 2007. In 2005 she co-starred in major AV-idol and pink film actress Yumika Hayashi’s last film, “Sweet as a Peach” by female director Yumi Yoshiyuki. The film and her another movie “Widow Apartment” was screened at the New Horizon International Film Festival in Poland in 2011, and her acting skill was acclaimed in Europe. Later, in 2012, Peach was again screened in Estonia. Now she is considered as one of the biggest international pink film actresses.
