Asami was born in Tokyo 1985. At age 19, she appeared in the theatrical film “Kiss Me or Kill Me,” directed by Naoyuki Tomomatsu. She made her debut as an adult video (AV) actress in 2005. Outside the adult video field, Asami appeared in several V-Cinema releases and theatrical films. In 2008, she also had a lead role playing the title heroine’s sidekick Miki in Noboru Iguchi’s gore-fest The Machine Girl which premiered at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival in March 2008.

For her performances in such pink films,“Asami in Prison Girl,” Asami won the “Best New Actress” at the Pink Grand Prix for the year 2008. Her performance in director Osamu Satō’s Three Slave Women won Asami the Best Actress award at the ceremony for 2009.
